So, “The Leftovers” is over, and you might be looking for another supernatural series to fill the void. Well, in just a couple of weeks you can flip the channel over to Spike where the TV adaptation of Stephen King‘s “The Mist” will be rolling in. And it certainly looks more compelling than we expected.
Morgan Spector, Alyssa Sutherland, Gus Birney, Danica Curcic, Okezie Morro, Luke Cosgrove, Darren Pettie, Russell Posner, Dan Butler, Isiah Whitlock Jr. and Frances Conroy are the ensemble players in this vision, which expands the original story, and finds the mist concealing many more secrets. The new trailer offers of gruesome teases of what’s in store, however series creator and executive producer Christian Torpe has loftier goals than just scaring the bejesus out of viewers.

“The Mist” debuts on June 22nd.
