‘No Time To Die’ Exclusive Featurette: Watch Cuba Get Painstakingly Recreated For The New James Bond Film

No matter which actor is wearing the tuxedo and drinking the martini, there’s one thing all James Bonds have in common—their presentation is exquisite. The same can be said about the films, themselves. Over the 25 features in the 007 film series, they all look great and every detail is painstakingly attended to. As you can see in a new featurette for “No Time to Die,” the latest Bond film takes that already great production design to the next level.

With “No Time to Die” arriving on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K UHD this week, we’re thrilled to give our readers an exclusive look at one of the featurettes from the release, focusing on the set construction of one of the many locations in the new film, Cuba. If you know anything about the current political status of Cuba, you know that filming “No Time to Die” on the island would likely have been impossible. So, the production decided to bring Cuba home.

As the featurette shows, the creation of the Cuban city where the action and scenes for “No Time to Die” take place was a huge undertaking, as they had to create 12 separate buildings, adopting classic Cuban architecture of accurately replicate the famous location. And honestly, if you watched “No Time to Die,” it’s likely you didn’t even realize that those scenes weren’t shot in a tropical location.

As mentioned, “No Time to Die” is available now on PVOD, but those (like myself) who enjoy physical media and the whole package that comes along with it, can purchase the film on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K UHD on December 21. You can watch the exclusive video below:
