Adria Arjona is having a pretty solid year. Not only is she one of the stars of the recently released film, “Blink Twice,” but she also starred in the acclaimed “Hit Man.” And for her next project, it looks like she’s teaming up with the filmmaker behind “Godzilla x Kong.”

According to THR, Adria Arjona is set to star in “Onslaught,” the new film from director Adam Wingard. Not much is known about “Onslaught,” but the report claims that Arjona will star as a mother with a particular set of skills who has to protect her family from some evil that escaped a secret military base.
As mentioned, Arjona recently starred in “Blink Twice” and “Hitman.” She’s also known for her roles in recent projects such as “Andor,” “6 Underground,” and “Triple Frontier.” Sadly, Arjona starred in “Morbius” and even won a Razzie award for her work, but we won’t really talk about that.
Excitingly, Wingard is reteaming with his frequent collaborator, writer Simon Barrett, for this new film. The duo previously worked on films such as “You’re Next” and “The Guest.” This was all before Wingard spent the last several years working on MonsterVerse films.
It’s unclear when we might see “Onslaught” arrive in theaters, but filming is expected to begin later this year, which would lead us to believe a 2025 release is a possibility.
