'Outer Banks' Season 4 Teaser: Netflix's Hit Teen Adventure Drama Returns In Two Parts This Fall

Few Netflix series have done as well with YA audiences as “Outer Banks,” an adventure series about two packs of teens searching for buried treasure off the North Carolina coast. So it’s no surprise that the streamer wants to make the Season 4 series premiere a deluxe event. The new teaser for the show announces that S4 will hit Netflix in two parts this Fall: five episodes premiering on October 10, and five more arriving on November 7.

But S4 also features a significant time jump: not the 18-month flash-forward that happened in Season 3, but rather a focus on what fans missed in the interim.  Read on for the official synopsis of “Outer Banks” S4, courtesy of Netflix:

After finding the gold at El Dorado, the Pogues return to the OBX and commit to having a “normal” life. They’ve built themselves a new safe haven, officially dubbed “Poguelandia 2.0”, where they live together and run a fairly successful bait, tackle, and charter tour shop. But after some financial setbacks, John B, Sarah, Kiara, JJ, Pope, and Cleo take Wes up on his offer, drawn back into the “G” game for a whole new adventure. But before they know it, they’re well in over their heads, with dangerous new enemies hot on their heels racing them to the treasure. Meanwhile, their problems are only growing, and they’re forced to question their past, present, and future – who they really are, has it all been worth it, and how much are they willing to risk?

“Outer Banks” S4 sees the main cast of the series return, including Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, and Carlacia Grant.  Drew Starkey, Austin North, Fiona Palomo, and J. Anthony Crane also star.  Pollyanna McIntosh, Brianna Brown, Rigo Sanchez, Mia Challis, and Cullen Moss round out the main cast.

Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke serve as creators and executive producers on “Outer Banks.” Jonas Pate and Erica Dunton are the only confirmed directors of the season’s 10 1-hour episodes so far.
