It would seem that Peter Berg and Rihanna got along splendidly on the set of the big budget disaster "Battleship." Aside from minor appearances in "This Is The End" and "Annie," it stands as her first major acting role, though she voices a character in the upcoming "Home."
Deadline reveals that Berg has been tapped to helm a feature length documentary about the pop star. The project is being compared to D.A. Pennebaker‘s iconic look at Bob Dylan in "Don’t Look Back," so yeah, the bar is way up there. It’s also being described as a "character study" rather than focusing particularly on music, tracking Rihanna’s rise to fame.
No word yet on when this Rihanna project might materialize, but no matter how excited you might be, you’ll never top this superfan’s devotion.
