“Justice League” arrives in just over a month, and Warner Bros. and DC are still playing coy about Superman’s return. We all know he’s coming back, the only question is how he’ll be rolling into the blockbuster movie. However, he’ll be changed man. “Dying” at the end of “Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice” while fighting a giant CGI monster, he’s put in a casket and buried, but of course, the implication is that he won’t be long in the grave.
So yes, he’s returning, but the massive, Joss Whedon led reshoots found Warner Bros. in a particular pickle. Henry Cavill had grown a formidable mustache for “Mission: Impossible 6” and was unable to remove it for the additional “Justice League” scenes. This has forced some poor souls to be responsible for digitally removing it, but frankly, we kinda want to see Superman rockin’ a serious cookie duster.

“It was a full-on porn-star mustache. He looked like a porn star from the ’70s, just with a better body. It’s a different twist [on Superman],” Ben Affleck told Empire about the impressive facial hair.
Honestly, I don’t care what kind of suit Superman has for his return. Just give me Clark Kent with the most Dad-ly mustache and I’ll be happy.
“Justice League” opens on November 17th. [via io9]
