Youtube, the website devoted to displaying only the highest quality independent films, is holding a contest to give aspiring filmmakers the chance to screen a short film at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. The guidelines call for a film that is no longer than five minutes and incorporates at least two props from the top 25 Sundance Film Festival films as well as a red telephone. The top 10 submissions will be chosen by the Sundance film committee and the Youtube community will choose the grand winner, who will have their short screened at the festival.
Visit the Youtube home page for a detailed briefing of the rules, or watch the video below which features acclaimed indie-film director, Darren Aronofsky.
