The revolution starts now! A better, hi-rez version of Steven Soderbergh’s ‘Che’ biopic, “The Argetine.” starring Benicio Del Toro is in Spanish, but it still gives us more insight into what these two films will look like. In 1964, Argentine revolutionary Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara (del Toro) travels to New York City to address the United Nations. At one point one friends asks ‘Che’ “Do you think I’m crazy?” and Che responds, “A little.”
The bootleg “The Argentine” trailer is exactly the same, but this time you can actually see and hear everything they’re saying. “Un pueblo que no sabe leer y escribir, es un pueblo facil a enganar,” which means “The people that cannot read or write are the people that can be easily deceived.” There’s definitely more action visible in this one too. The bootleg was shot off the screen and kind of crap.
