Rising 'Heaven Knows What’ Star Arielle Holmes Joins Shia LaBeouf In Andrea Arnold's 'American Honey'

heaven knows whatThe story behind Arielle Holmes is a pretty inspiring one. A heroin addict living on the streets of New York City, she was approached by filmmaking siblings Josh and Benny Safdie to play a role in a movie they were working on. But as they talked to Holmes and learned about her life, they encouraged the young woman to write down her experiences, and soon those became the basis of "Heaven Knows What."
