Ok, so I’m going out on a limb and saying that you’re likely not going to see a more strange film all year than “Sasquatch Sunset.” And honestly, not everyone is going to be jazzed by the premise of the movie. That said, if you watch this trailer and are into what is presented, “Sasquatch Sunset” could be one of the most fun films of 2024.
As seen in the trailer, “Sasquatch Sunset” follows a family of Sasquatches in the forests of North America. The film follows them over the course of a year, as you begin to learn how they survive and thrive in the woods without anyone seeing them. Yes, it’s as wild as that sounds.
The film stars Riley Keough, Jesse Eisenberg, Christophe Zajac-Denek, and Nathan Zellner. “Sasquatch Sunset” is directed by David Zellner and Nathan Zellner, with David also penning the script. The duo previously worked on films such as “Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter” and “Damsel.”
“Sasquatch Sunset” arrives in select theaters on April 12 before opening nationwide on April 19. You can watch the trailer below.
