Shane Black Gets His (Cold) ‘War’ On

Shane Black, might have created and written the horrible “Lethal Weapon” franchise (or at least it quickly became dreadful), but he redeemed himself in 2005 with the super wry and subversive murder mystery, “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang,” starring Robert Downey Jr. and Val Kilmer (we seriously love that film). Now he’s being tapped to direct, “Cold War,” which revolves around a spy from the Cold War era who comes out of retirement to team with a younger agent… and then probably grumbles that he’s “too old for this shit”? We’re a little worried that Black might be regressing. [Variety]
