A rodeo queen goes missing and when her best friend takes it upon herself to track her friend down, the race against time to find her is on. “She’s Missing” sees best friends Heidi and Jane ripped apart when the latter vanishes into thin air. The film, written and directed by Alexandra McGuinness, follows Heidi’s trek through the desert to find her lost friend.
The “She’s Missing” trailer is intercut with Heidi’s memories of her friend, and her desperate search to find her. Heidi’s search takes her out of their small desert town to unknown territories, where she meets mysterious men and women who have crossed paths with Jane at some point in time. One of whom is Josh Harnett, the object of affection for many 90s and 2000s teen girls, who is finally back on the big screen after a brief hiatus.

She digs up secrets and encounters the violence of life on the road, crossing paths with a series of unusual men and women in her search for an honest connection in a dishonest world.
“She’s Missing” drops on all VOD platforms and select theaters on December 20. Along with Hartnett, the film features Lucy Fry (“11.22.63”), Eiza González (“Alita: Battle Angel”), Blake Berris (“Living Room Coffin”), Sheila Vand (“A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night”), and Christian Camargo (“Twilight: Breaking Dawn).
