‘Silicon Valley’ Final Season Trailer: Mike Judge’s HBO Comedy Begins Its Sixth Season This Month

For a comedy as funny as “Silicon Valley,” the HBO series has had its fair share of drama behind the scenes. Despite the series’ acclaim and Emmy wins, it hasn’t been completely smooth sailing over the last five years for “Silicon Valley,” with issues with one of the leads, TJ Miller causing an uncertain future a couple of seasons ago. But the comedy has recovered and now enters its sixth and final season later this month.

And as seen in the new trailer for Season 6 of “Silicon Valley,” the comedy looks to fire on all cylinders as it speeds to the finish line. As with each season of the series, “Silicon Valley” follows our heroes, a group of tech developers trying to make Pied Piper the biggest and best company possible. And as we’ve seen in years past, just when you think everything is going well, there’s always something that is going to get in the way of Richard and his crew.

The series stars Thomas Middleditch, Zach Woods, Kumail Nanjiani, Martin Starr, Amanda Crew, Jimmy O. Yang, Suzanne Cryer, Matt Ross, and Josh Brener. “Silicon Valley” is written, produced, and directed by Mike Judge and Alec Berg. The latter of which has also found incredible success recently with his other HBO series, “Barry.”

The final season of “Silicon Valley” premieres on HBO on October 27.

Here’s the synopsis:

A collaboration between Mike Judge and Alec Berg, the Emmy®-winning and Golden Globe-nominated series takes a comedic look at the modern-day epicenter of the high-tech gold rush, where the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success. This season finds Richard and the Pied Piper guys finally seeing the fruits of their labor but realizing that a bigger company means much bigger problems.
