In a new profile at People, Jude Law hyped up the new series, “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.” The show follows a group of young kids as they come across a mysterious item which puts them on a mission at the heart of the galaxy. Basically, think of an Amblin vibe mixed with a “Star War.” The series stars Jude Law, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, and Ryan Kiera Armstrong.

According to Law, even though ‘Skeleton Crew’ features a bunch of new characters, there are still plenty of callbacks to previous films and series.

“It is a fun place to be, the universe of Star Wars,” he adds with a smile. “And there are great references to old films and recent episodes and series. There’s a lot of originality and I hope that will bring the feeling of fun to those who watch it.”

Does that mean we’ll get an obligatory Yoda appearance? Maybe some familiar Jedi? We’ll have to wait and see.

“Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” debuts on Disney+ on December 3. You can see the first-look photos below.

Here’s the synopsis:

When four kids make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, they get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Finding their way home, meeting unlikely allies and enemies will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined.
