'Small Things Like These' Trailer: Cillian Murphy Stars In Acclaimed New Drama

Cillian Murphy can do no wrong right now. The actor starred in one of the biggest films of 2023, “Oppenheimer,” which earned him an Oscar. Now, it appears his next film, “Small Things Like These” is earning just as much acclaim for the actor.

As seen in the trailer, “Small Things Like These” tells the story of a coal merchant who stumbles into the middle of drama surrounding a local convent. Now, he has to confront his past, as well as reckon with the silence that is all around him thanks to the Catholic Church.

The film stars Cillian Murphy, Eileen Walsh, Michelle Fairley, Clare Dunne, Helen Behan, and Emily Watson. “Small Things Like These” is directed by Tim Mielants, who is primarily known for his TV work on shows such as “Peaky Blinders,” “Legion,” and “Tales From the Loop.”
