‘Snow White’ Teaser Trailer: Disney’s Live-Action Film With Rachel Zegler & Gal Gadot Hits March 2025 [D23]

In the past decade, Disney has had immense success by turning all its animated classics into action films. The latest iteration of that model continues with “Snow White,” a live-action musical reimagining of the classic 1937 film “Snow White And The Seven Dwarves.” Coming to theaters on March 21, 2025, Disney released a new teaser trailer for the film at D23.

The film—which stars Rachel Zegler—invites audiences back into the magical world of Snow White with beloved songs and recognizable characters such as the Evil Queen, played by Gal Gadot, and, of course, Dopey, Grumpy, Sneezy, Bashful, Happy, Sleepy and Doc.

Directed by Marc Webb (“The Amazing Spider-Man” and ‘ASM2’, the screenplay for the movie was written by Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson. Andrew Burnap, Ansu Kabia, Dujonna Gift, and Colin Michael Carmichael are part of the cast, but the only announced dwarf so far is Martin Klebba.

The film will feature  all-new original songs from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, who are known for “The Greatest Showman” and for composing songs for musical theater productions such as “Christmas Story” and “Dear Evan Hansen.

Disney’s Snow White” is a live-action musical reimagining of the classic 1937 film. The magical music adventure journeys back to the timeless story with beloved characters Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy. “Disney’s Snow White” is directed by Marc Webb and produced by Marc Platt and Jared LeBoff, with Callum McDougall serving as executive producer, and features all-new original songs from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.
