‘Stephen Curry: Underrated’ Trailer: A24 & Apple TV+ Shine The Spotlight On One Of The NBA’s Best

While he isn’t so much of a household name to non-basketball fans as LeBron James, Stephen Curry is one of the best NBA players of the past 20 years. And he’s getting the spotlight in the new Apple TV+/A24 doc, “Stephen Curry: Underrated.”

As seen in the trailer for the documentary, “Stephen Curry: Underrated” tells the story of Curry, from his time as an undersized, overlooked young college player to his rise in the NBA and becoming one of the elite stars. The film aims to show just how his determination and pure skill proved people wrong and made him into the athlete he is today. 

‘Underrated’ is directed by Peter Nicks. The documentarian is probably best known for his previous films, “Homeroom,” “The Waiting Room,” and “The Force.” He also produced the film alongside Ryan Coogler, Sean Havey, Erick Peyton, Marissa Torres Ericson, and Ben Cotner.
