Directed by Alex Oshmyansky, the mockumentary plays as a recruitment video for the Russian mafia, and the premise allowed the director the opportunity to really play with the format. "The film is a an experiment to see what kind of experience a feature-length virtual reality film would be. I’m obviously biased, but I think it turned out great. The film is a whole new kind of cinematic experience that hasn’t existed before. We are thrilled to be able to present it at the South by Southwest VR/AR Experience Expo," he said in statement.
