Stephen Sommers has come out and denied rumors regarding his alleged firing from “G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra”: “It’s complete lies. I have always had final cut of the film,” [ed. uhhh, congratulations? We might make that Alan Smithee if we were you]. People just make stuff up. You have to really screw up to get fired from a movie.” Translation: “I screwed up, but it wasn’t that bad.” Does this mean he will retroactively be fired once the terrible-looking movie comes out and fails?
