From writer/director Ned Benson (The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby”), the movie stars Lucy Boynton (“Barbie,” “Bohemian Rhapsody”) as Harriet, a young woman mourning the end of a relationship. One day, Harriet discovers that certain songs will send her back in time and allow her to spend time with her former boyfriend, played by David Corenswet (allowing the viewer to get a glimpse of Corenswet’s charisma before he puts on the red cape as DC’s “Superman”) In the midst of her time-traveling Harriet is getting to know another young man played by Justin M. Lin (“After Yang” “The Umbrella Academy”). Harriet will have to choose between her past and present.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Harriet (Lucy Boynton) finds art imitating life when she discovers certain songs can transport her back in time-literally. When she relives the past through romantic memories of her former boyfriend (David Corenswet), her time-traveling collides with a burgeoning new love interest in the present (Justin H. Min). As she takes her journey through the hypnotic connection between music and memory, she wonders- even if she could change the past, should she?

“The Greatest Hits” will premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival on March 14 before opening in select theaters on April 5. After that, the film becomes available for streaming on Hulu on April 12.
