'The Killer's Game' Trailer: Dave Bautista Hires Hitmen To Take Himself Out In J.J. Perry's New Action Film

Sure, there are a ton of bad guys in “The Killer’s Game.” The trailer shows a number of them. But the real villain has to be the medical system.

As seen in the trailer for “The Killer’s Game,” the film follows the story of a hitman who gets the terrible news that he has a terminal illness that will only give him three months to live. Armed with this news, the hitman decides to take a hit out on himself. But wouldn’t you know it? The doctor calls him back and says the files got switched and he’s perfectly fine. Now, he just has to deal with a cavalcade of assassins hot on his tail.

The film stars Dave Bautista, Sofia Boutella, Terry Crews, Scott Adkins, Pom Klementieff, and Ben Kingsley. “The Killer’s Game” is directed by J.J. Perry. This marks the filmmaker’s second directorial effort, as his debut was 2022’s “Day Shift,” which debuted on Netflix. Clearly, he comes from the Chad Stahelski, David Leitch, Sam Hargrave school of action filmmaking.

In the new action-comedy THE KILLER’S GAME, when top hitman Joe Flood (Dave Bautista) is diagnosed with a terminal illness, he decides to take matters into his own hands – by taking a hit out on himself. But when the very hitmen he hired also target his ex-girlfriend (Sofia Boutella) , he must fend off an army of assassin colleagues and win back the love of his life before it’s too late.
