Got a Tip?

‘The Social Network’ Tops The Golden Globes With Four Awards Including Best Picture

‘The Fighter’ Wins Two Awards Including Best Supporting Actor and Actress

The Social Network,” as expected, won big at tonight’s Golden Globes taking home Best Picture, Best Score, Best Screenplay and Best Director, putting it at the front of the pack for next month’s Oscars. And while the ceremony was a bit of a snore, there were some very pleasant surprises. “The Kids Are All Right” earned a Best Actress win for Annette Bening and rightfully won over the thoroughly tepid pack that made up the Best Motion Picture (Comedy Or Musical) category. Susanne Bier‘s “In A Better World” truly shocked with a big Best Foreign Language Film win, while Paul Giamatti beat Johnny Depp twice over in the Best Actor (Comedy Or Musical) category. But just to prove payola still works, “Burlesque” took home a statue for Best Original Song. Finally, Robert De Niro took home the Cecil B. DeMille award for lifetime achievement.

For more on the actual ceremony, from the jokes you missed to whose hair was totally awful (seriously Jesse Eisenberg?) check out our live blog of the event. Full list of winners after the jump.
