As seen in the trailer for “The Sticky,” the series tells the story of a middle-aged woman who is on the verge of losing her maple syrup farm. To get back at the bureaucratic authorities who have done her wrong, she devises a plan to steal millions of dollars worth of maple syrup. And if this sounds like something incredibly far-fetched, then you should know that it’s inspired by a true story.
The cast includes Margo Martindale, Chris Diamantopoulos, Guillaume Cyr, and Jamie Lee Curtis. The series is showrun by Brian Donovan and Ed Herro.
