‘The Substance’ & ‘I Saw The TV Glow’ Lead 2025 Dorian Film Award Nominations

One of the last critics groups to announce their year-end awards is GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics. This year, the 500+ member body kicked off the 2025 Dorian Film Awards by honoring Jane Schoenbrun’s “I Saw The TV Glow” with nine nominations while Coralie Fargeat’s “The Substance” earned eight noms. Other nominees in the Film of the Year category included “Challengers,” “Nickel Boys,” and “Anora.”

Among other awards season contenders, “Challengers” and “Emilia Pérez” earned six nominations while “The Brutalist” earned five. “Anora,” “Nickel Boys,” and “Wicked” took four a piece.

The winners will be announced on Thursday, February 13. A toast to celebrate the winner is currently scheduled for Sunday, February 15.
