-Yahoo’s got a big, bad new trailer for “Black Dynamite” up, and it sure looks like fun. The blaxploitation spoof looks to get the look and feel of the era correctly, the trailer and its narration seemingly provided from the hyperbolic heights of the similar teasers for the “Dolemite” films. The trailer nicely showcases a cast that includes Michael Jai White, Arsenio Hall and Tommy Davidson amongst a host of wicked action scenes seemingly on loan from “Truck Turner” and its ilk, i.e. actual well-done period-specific action sequences, not poorly choreographed slapfests. “Black Dynamite” will be released in sucka-free cinemas on October 16th.
The folks at Twitchfilm have uncovered a trailer for the upcoming “Iron Man” sequel. No, not that one, the other “Iron Man” sequel. “Tetsuo The Bullet Man” is not a continuation of the story of “Tetsuo: The Iron Man” or “Tetsuo 2: Body Hammer” but rather a followup to the themes of the classic cyberpunk movies. Director Shinya Tsukamoto returns to essay the story of a mild-mannered salaryman who finds himself changing into a metallic robot man, but this time he’s using the English language to gain an entirely new generation of fans. The originals are both shocking genre classics with fucking incredible soundtracks and if you haven’t seen them, you can watch them both on You Tube for free, so you don’t have any more excuses, you troglodyte. But seriously, what’s up with Twitch’s terrible video embeds? Guys have a great site (which just relaunched), but their player needs serious work.

Michael Winterbottom has helped bring Naomi Klein’s best-seller “The Shock Doctrine” to the screen as a documentary that is sure to piss people off. Klein’s thesis connects the American free market with American’s most demonic political actions, drawing a correlation between American economic success and worldwide human rights atrocities. Apparently it’s already aired on the BBC and is available free for streaming if you live in England, but we bet you can find it online yourself if you look in the right places. The trailer has been released on You Tube.
