“Miss Everdeen, it’s the things that we love most that destroy us.” Oooh, President Snow’s (Donald Sutherland), you are so ominous. A new trailer for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1” is on its way in five days. To mark the occasion, Lionsgate has released a new poster, a quick teaser tease for the trailer and we’ve found this to be a good excuse to post a bunch of related ‘Mockingjay’ stuff
The upcoming sequel stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Julianne Moore, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Natalie Dormer, Stef Dawson, Evan Ross, Lily Rabe, Patina Miller, Wes Chatham, Elden Henson and Robert Knepper. Whew, that’s a mouthful of names.
Of course, “The Hunger Games” was supposed to just be three movies (there are only three books), but Summit/Lionsgate took a hint from the “Twilight” movies and made two movies out of the final book, as did the “Harry Potter” series (hey, at least it’s not “The Hobbit,” which made three movies out of one, fairly slim kid’s book).
