'Vigil' Season 2 Trailer: Rose Leslie & Suranne Jones Return For Peacock's Investigative Miltary Drama In February

What’s behind a series of puzzling deaths? The Peacock series “Vigil” returns for an anticipated second season full of drama and surprises. DCI Silva and DC Longacre are back to solve another disturbing mystery. Much like season one, their investigation surrounds the politics and traditions of a secretive military system.

Series leads Suranne Jones and Rose Leslie reprise their roles as Silva and Longacre, respectively. For Jones, the fearlessness to tackle intricate storylines makes the project stand out. “I also think it’s brave to tackle the issues and ask some of the questions that you see in the series, certainly as we come into the later episodes,” the actress said.

Leslie, best known for her work on “Game of Thrones” and “Downton Abbey,” thinks viewers will have much to take in when the second season premieres. The actress reflected on the various aspects of upcoming episodes. “There are thrills, suspense, and action,” Leslie said. “We also see the way that Amy and Kirsten’s relationship has developed since we last saw them two years ago. There’s motherhood and family themes going on – so there’s a bit of everything!”
