'Wake Up Dead Man': Thomas Haden Church Joins The Cast Of Rian Johnson's 'Knives Out' Sequel

With yesterday’s announcement of only one actor joining “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,” it seemed as if we were done with the big casting reveals. Well, not quite.

According to The Wrap, Thomas Haden Church is the next actor to join Rian Johnson’s “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.” Haden Church joins an all-star cast that already includes Josh O’Connor, Cailee Spaeny, Andrew Scott, Kerry Washington, Glenn Close, Jeremy Renner, and Josh Brolin. It feels as if now we are really getting to the tail end, if only one name per day is being announced. Maybe by the end of this week, we’ll know the full main cast of the film. Stick around to find out.

Thomas Haden Church has been acting for many years, turning in great performances in a number of projects. Most recently, you are going to be able to see him in the first two parts of “Horizon: An American Saga.” The third part was supposed to begin filming this month, but reports claim that Kevin Costner is still searching for funding, so the production has been delayed until later this year. Clearly, that means Haden Church is free to work on the ‘Knives Out’ sequel.

Once again, we’re here to tell you that plot details about the new ‘Knives Out’ film are being kept under wraps. We don’t know if Haden Church is the killer, the deceased, or just one of the suspects. Perhaps, he’s even just a red herring. Who knows?

There’s no release date set for “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.”
