Watch: Charming Trailer For Time-Travel Comedy 'Safety Not Guaranteed' Starring Mark Duplass & Aubrey Plaza

"The world is mostly full of jankholes," says time traveler Kenneth in the trailer for the Sundance hit "Safety Not Guaranteed." And watching some of the ugly side of humanity come out during this political season (and in the Trayvon Martin saga), we get exactly where he's coming from.

Starring Mark Duplass, Aubrey Plaza and Jake Johnson, the film follows a trio of journalists who investigate a personal ad for a partner in a time-travel experiment, in the hopes of capturing a light, fluff piece. Of course, what emerges is something a bit different, with the film looking like a charming relationship tale of an oddball just looking for somebody he can connect with. We can't recall ever seeing this side of Duplass on screen, and it's a pleasure, while Plaza continues to prove why she's one of the most exciting and funny actresses around.

The film will hit theaters on June 8th, and if you can't get into "Prometheus" or simply want to wait for the crowds to die down, this would be a nice, breezy replacement. Watch it at Apple or below (embed via ComingSoon).
