The sound you hear is that of motorcycle revving, and the aroma is the exhaust that will spread over generations… Yes, we’re being a bit poetic about “The Place Beyond The Pines,” director Derek Cianfrance‘s epic forthcoming film, and we kind of have to be because to talk too much about the movie is to ruin its dramatic heft. However, the movie still needs to be marketed and this week kicks off with a new clip and some behind-the-scenes images from the movie.
In this scene from the movie, we see cop Bradley Cooper try to make some amends with Eva Mendes‘ single mom…and that’s all we’re going to tell you. Again, to talk further about the circumstances of this scene is a bit of a giveaway. And you’ll likely want to skim your eyeballs down further for some behind-the-scenes peeks, at what looks like a light-hearted set for the very dramatic film.
“The Place Beyond The Pines” opens in limited release on March 29th, and if you’re waiting for the first truly great film of 2013, this one is probably it.
