Watch: David Carr’s Last Interview With Edward Snowden And Laura Poitras About ‘Citizenfour’

CitizenfourIt has been quite a week for figures in the national news media. The scandal regarding Brian Williams and his issues with the facts and truth continues to unfoldJon Stewart announced he was leaving "The Daily Show" later this year, veteran CBS journalist Bob Simon was tragically killed in an accident, and last night, David Carr of The New York Times suddenly passed away. 

One of the most colorful, direct, and inspirational writers about the media landscape, Carr was unique among many others who also analyzed the vast landscape of movies, television, technology and beyond. But perhaps it was no more fitting a tribute to his legacy that he died on a day when he was busy as ever. Earlier on Thursday, Carr moderated a talk at the New School with "Citizenfour" director Laura Poitras, journalist Glenn Greenwald, and Edward Snowden. And today, it has been made available in full.
