Universal understands one thing about "Fifty Shades Of Grey" — it’s popular. So forget about a Super Bowl spot with critic quotes. Instead, they want to make you feel like part of the 100 million plus people who bought the "Twilight" fan fiction, or the 250 million plus people who have watched the trailer. And if you’re not? You better become one of those folks, lest you miss out on the erotic event of the year.
As you know, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson star in this tale of a college student and business mogul who create some big dividends between the sheets. If you get off on attractive people getting their kinks off on sheets with a super high thread count, this movie will push all of your buttons. This still looks incredibly silly to me, and the closing line, "Like your X-box and stuff?" is funny, but not for the reasons the trailer thinks it is. But hey, different strokes for different folks, I guess.
