Originally slated to be released this year, Sacha Baron Cohen‘s "The Brothers Grimsby" was pushed back, presumably so it wouldn’t bang elbows with the onslaught of secret agent movies this year, which has already seen "Kingsman: The Secret Service," "Spy," and "Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation" on the big screen, and "Spectre" is around the corner. But with 007 headed to cinemas, Sony is using the opportunity to remind folks that ‘Grimsby’ is still on the way, and have dropped the first trailer.
In the opening stages, the trailer might surprise you. The early word was that ‘Grimsby’ was very much an action comedy, and director Louis Leterrier doesn’t hold back, with a pretty ripping first person shooter style action sequence, that has Mark Strong kicking ass, and taking names. But then, we meet his character’s brother, Grimsby, a football hooligan who in traditional Cohen style, has no boundaries.
"The Brothers Grimsby" opens on March 4th. Watch below.
