Is Mike Banning this generation’s John McClane? Okay, that’s probably a bit of hyperbole. In the era of superheroes, we don’t have many new regular guy heroes, so I suppose Gerard Butler‘s character will have to do. And after saving the government types from bad guys in "Olympus Has Fallen," the stakes have been raised for "London Has Fallen."

As the title suggests, the action has now moved across the pond, where Brit politicians are in peril, but not only that, it seems a bigger plot is unfolding too. Here’s the official synopsis: In London for the Prime Minister’s funeral, Mike Banning discovers a plot to assassinate all the attending world leaders.
