Watch: Get On The Timeline With The Red Band Trailer For ‘A Haunted House 2’

A Haunted House 2

In case you’re wondering who is responsible for “A Haunted House 2,” well, everyone is. The cheap, $2.5-million horror spoof “A Haunted House,” was dropped into the dumping ground of January last year, and the R-rated effort earned $40 million at the U.S. box office. That’s just math you don’t argue with. So a sequel has been made, and now the expectations have been slightly raised with a spring release date. But it looks like the budget—or lack of it—remains the same.

A new red band trailer has arrived and it looks to be delivering everything that made the first movie, uh, “work.” Yep, raunchy sex jokes, lots of Marlon Wayans screeching, (tired) parodies of horror tropes and, this time around, a social media timeline format for the promo for some reason. We guess whoever was cutting the trailer was having some fun. Odds are either you’re one of the people who saw the first movie and liked it…or not. This one probably isn’t going to bring in many newcomers to the franchise.

“A Haunted House” scares on April 18th.
