Are you ready for another trip with The Wachowskis? After "Jupiter Ascending" and—depending how you felt about it—"Cloud Atlas," perhaps not. But there is something to be admired in the ambition of the filmmakers who are taking their multithreaded storytelling approach to Netflix for "Sense8." And after the first trailer landed earlier in the month, a batch of new character videos have arrived to take you even deeper into the show.
Described as a "global thriller," the show follows eight individuals who learn they are connected to seven other selves. And that’s about all we know as any further official plot details aren’t forthcoming and I’d imagine it’s not the kind of story that can be unboxed easily in one or two paragraphs either. Or for that matter, in character spots, with these little promos certainly teasing something mindbending, even if I’m not sure exactly what.
