If you are one of the many who are looking forward to “Star Trek Into Darkness,” you may have felt that too many years had gone by without much information regarding the film. But now, with the release just a week away, you might start to feel that there’s too much information being exposed, with clip after clip being released in the past few weeks. Well, guess what? We have… yet another clip and a featurette to show you!
The clip shows Spock (Zachary Quinto) hanging on tight to the shuttle pod cable as Sulu (John Cho) tries his best to keep the pod steady. But soon the cable breaks and Spock finds himself in the midst of volcanoes and hot lava. It’s a dangerous mission, but Spock is man enough (or Vulcan enough) to go through with it anyway, for the sake of the species they’re attempting to save. Will Spock survive? You’ll just have to wait and see.
The featurette simply shows J.J. Abrams in his office (which has a boatload of sweet memorabilia), talking about the movie and giving us a little insight into what it was like re-visiting the “Star Trek” universe this time around. Will the movie be as fun for you as it was for Abrams? Find out when it opens everywhere on May 17th. [MTV/Comingsoon]
