In its ceaseless quest to make sure everyone knows “The Dark Knight Rises” is hitting screens in a little over a week, Warner Bros. has released even more marketing materials for you to scrutinize.
First up is a new trailer that also serves as something of a tribute to Christopher Nolan’s trilogy as a whole. Containing flashbacks to both "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight" it treats the trilogy as the journey of Bruce Wayne, and includes small bits of new dialogue and footage as well. Meanwhile, in the Mountain Dew “Dew Gotham City” website, the batcave area has opened up with a new featurette about the film. There isn’t really anything particularly spoilery about the video, and in fact there’s no real new information revealed that wasn’t already in the previously released 13 minute long featurette. Finally, on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" last night, a brand new clip from the movie was unveiled featuring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Gary Oldman — John Blake and James Gordon — discussing the death of Harvey Dent.
And lastly, Fandango has gotten word that attendees of IMAX midnight screenings of “The Dark Knight Rises” will receive a cool limited edition poster that features the man who may (or may not) finally break Batman. The poster will probably hit eBay sometime after, so don’t worry if you can’t snatch one. Check out the poster below, along with all the videos.
