Last year, Pixar had one big hit and one miss. Everyone fell in love with "Inside Out," but "The Good Dinosaur" just didn’t connect in the same way. You win some and you lose some, but it’s probably safe to say that his year, Pixar can reliably count on people up for "Finding Nemo" sequel/spinoff "Finding Dory."

Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Ed O’Neill, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell, Eugene Levy, and Diane Keaton voice the new adventure, which finds Dory exploring her past, her ability to speak whale, and what happened to her parents. So yes, it’s a focus shift, with the movie promising to fill in the blanks of the beloved character.
