Fans of “The Raid: Redemption” won’t have to wait much longer for the bloody follow-up, with the sequel opening in limited release next week. To ease your wait, Sony Picture Classics has released a new internet only trailer on the heels of the NSFW clip from earlier this week.
Lasting a little over a minute long, the internet-only trailer (via IGN) really pushes the epic bone-crushing action of “The Raid 2: Berandal” to the forefront with a percussive score meant to jolt you to attention. While we weren’t exactly fans of the sequel (read our review), there’s no denying the ambition behind the dizzying and amazingly choreographed action scenes. We just wish it were a shorter movie with less bloat.
