The Super Bowl has the pre-game show, and the movie marketing equivalent is a teaser for the game day spot, and so here we are, a few days away from kickoff with a little sampling of what you’ll get on Sunday.
Sony has dropped the first part of their splashy “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” promo they’ll be unveiling at some point between the first and fourth quarters this weekend. It’s sorta like a tailgate party before the big game, but you’ll have to supply your own beers and brats. But with this franchise already going long with two more sequels, spinoff films for the villains and much more, it’s understandable why Sony is punting this one a bit early.
