This year’s spring/summer comedies either seem to be hitting or missing. Earlier this month, Seth Rogen and Zac Efron scored big with “Neighbors,” while this weekend’s “A Million Ways To Die In The West” looks like a colossal disaster that commits the one cardinal sin of comedies that don’t work: it’s not funny. But don’t worry, Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are on their way.
The pair are back for “22 Jump Street,” once again going undercover to catch the bad guys while bonding with each other, with everyone involved hoping that Phil Lord and Chris Miller can recreate the magic from “21 Jump Street.” And you can see if they do with a new red band spot, clip and featurette from the film. It’s always difficult to condense R-rated movies to marketable nuggets so we’ll wait until we can see more, but it seems the silliness of the first movie has remained intact, which is definitely a good thing.
“22 Jump Street” arrives on June 13th. Watch below.
