It's been a bit of a bummer 2012 for Tim Burton. His big screen reboot of the forgotten '70s show "Dark Shadows" didn't do so well critically or at the box office, and when his feature-length "Frankenweenie" arrived to good reviews, audiences didn't seem to care. But it looks like he's ending the year on a high note. Or at least a warbled note from Brandon Flowers.
The director, who helmed The Killers' video for "Bones," has reupped with them for "Here With Me." And putting Winona Ryder and "Submarine" star Craig Roberts in a pretty expensive-looking video definitely shows Burton just didn't show up and sit behind the camera. The costumes, set and story are his distinctly his own, telling a pretty playful story of obsession. Too bad about that song is a tedious power ballad, which we're pretty sure has a string section part that lifts from Guns 'N Roses' "November Rain." Anyway, check it all out below. [STYD]
