In case you’re just waking up or haven’t talked to anyone today, we’ll gently remind you that this morning the Oscar nominations were unveiled, and were pleased to see Spike Jonze‘s “Her” capture four five nominations including Best Picture, Best Song, Best Screenplay, Best Production Design and Best Score (the latter was a pleasant surprise). And now it looks like we’ll have even more reason to celebrate Jonze’s wonderfully melancholy look at love, technology and relationships.
Longtime pal and collaborator Lance Bangs has put together a documentary about the film, “Her: Love In The Modern Age,” and the trailer has now arrived. Interviewing folks like Olivia Wilde, James Murphy, Brett Easton Ellis, Charlyne Yi and more, the doc features reflections and reactions from a wide variety folks, in different creative mediums, to “Her” and what it says to say about how we all relate (or don’t). Undoubtedly, it’s a subject that means different things to different people and this should be an interesting one to watch.
No word on an exact release date, but it will premiere soon on The Creators Project. Watch below.
