Watch: Trailer For Hans Zimmer's First Ever Concert Tour

nullAs the man who has given the sonic identity to Christopher Nolan‘s "Inception," "Interstellar," and "The Dark Knight" trilogy, Hans Zimmer has become a household name. But he’s been in the game a long time and doesn’t just count blockbusters as his speciality. It should be noted that the same year he scored "True Romance," he also tuned up "Cool Runnings." And even as recently as 2013, while he provided the music for "12 Years A Slave," he also wrote a score for the tiny indie, "Mr. Morgan’s Last Love." At the end of the day, it’s his more bombastic work that gets attention, and in a concert setting, what you’d want to hear. And if you live overseas, you’ll get the chance.

The composer is going on his first ever live concert tour, and dropped a trailer to promote the upcoming gigs. And it certainly looks like it’ll be a helluva experience. The orchestra is massive, and it seems that his recent frequent collaborator Johnny Marr will be joining him as well.

“Performing a tour like this is something that I have always wanted to do, and I am thrilled that the time has finally come,” Zimmer said in a press release. “I am very excited to get some of my very talented friends together and give our audiences an experience unlike any concert they have ever been to before.”

The tour kicks off on April 6, 2016 at Wembley and goes from there. Check out the dates and trailer below. [FACT]
