“The Simpsons” is now running twenty-five seasons long, and to be honest, we don’t really watch this thing anymore. In fact, not many people are, with last week’s episode setting an all time’s ratings low. But it’s such a cash cow Fox isn’t going to kill the show anytime soon, but they’re hoping this latest gimmick will get folks to tune in.
Yep, “The Simpsons” are going Lego, with “Brick Like Me,” and the trailers shows your favorite family on Evergreen Terrace all blocked up. The episode finds Homer in a weird alternate universe where Springfield is all brick, and he has to figure out how to get back. And yet, for all the effort put into the look of the episode, it’s still woefully unfunny, with none of the jokes in this preview landing at all. We’ll just hang onto the first ten seasons and remember the good years, thanks.
