Fory five years since it was first released, Roman Polanski‘s horror classic “Rosemary’s Baby” remains chilling. The tale of the literal spawn of Satan and an unsuspecting young woman is one of the genre’s finest, a pitch perfect, surreal and scary piece of filmmaking. But what was it like to make the movie?

Well, this vintage 23-minute doc, made shortly after the movie wrapped, lends a bit of insight. Featuring Polanski along with star Mia Farrow, the doc includes a plethora of behind-the-scenes footage, Polanski sharing his approach to directing and blocking scenes and much more.  It’s a pretty interesting document, if only because it provides reflections from the time, not decades after the fact. It’s certainly worth a spin for any fans of the film.
