As seen in the trailer for “Wish,” the animated film follows the story of a kingdom where the King has the power to literally grant wishes. However, his reign is challenged when a young woman wishes for something so powerful that she is answered by an actual star. Yes, this is a film that sorta takes the “When You Wish Upon a Star” and makes it a feature. It is Disney after all, and this is what the studio does.

The film stars Ariana DeBose, Chris Pine, Alan Tudyk, Angelique Cabral, Victor Garber, Natasha Rothwell, Jennifer Kumiyama, Evan Peters, Ramy Youseff, Harvey Guillén, Niko Vargas, Della Saba, and Jon Rudnitsky. “Wish” is directed by Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn. Buck is probably best known for his work as director of both “Frozen” and “Frozen II,” while Veerasunthorn is best known for helming “Raya and the Last Dragon.”

“Wish” debuts in theaters on November 22. You can watch the new trailer below.
