I must admit, I don’t know much about the psychological thriller television series “You” starring Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti. Developed by Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble (he does a lot of CW soap-opera-ish superhero stuff, but has a massive TV empire behind him), but the idea of a serial killer who falls in love with a customer, quickly develops an extreme, toxic, and delusional obsession, but then eventually marries her and has a baby with her, is kinda interesting, in a way that’s likely corny, but entertaining knowing the kind of fromage Berlanti usually produces. “You” used to be a Lifetime series, which really tells you all you need to know, but it got big, popular, significant ratings, and then Netflix bought it and turned it into a “Netflix Original.”

Now, in season three, the couple are now married with a young baby, trying to forge a normal life in the affluent suburb of Madre Linda. But old habits die hard (and again, I don’t follow the show, but the idea of psychopath serial killing mom and dad in the suburbs kinda sound hilariously watchable).

Here’s the official synopsis:
In Season 3, Joe and Love, now married and raising their baby, have moved to the balmy Northern California enclave of Madre Linda, where they’re surrounded by privileged tech entrepreneurs, judgmental mommy bloggers and Insta-famous biohackers. Joe is committed to his new role as a husband and dad, but fears Love’s lethal impulsiveness. And then there’s his heart. Could the woman he’s been searching for all this time live right next door? Breaking out of a cage in a basement is one thing. But the prison of a picture-perfect marriage to a woman who’s wise to your tricks? Well, that’ll prove a much more complicated escape.
