Hans Zimmer's Intense "Submarine" From The 'Dunkirk' Soundtrack

Dunkirk” is Christopher Nolan‘s shortest film since “Following,” and so it only makes sense that his upcoming WWII movie might put the thrills we’re used to from the director in an even more intense package. “Supermarine,” the fourth track from the soundtrack, has given us our first taste of the mood of the movie, and you might want to skip your morning cup of coffee. Running over eight minutes long, it’s a relentless piece of music, with lots of Zimmer’s trademarks — bleating brass, pulsating undertones — pulled together for a pretty exciting piece of music. Zimmer’s work on Nolan’s film has always been terrific, and it looks like it’ll be no less grand here.

“Dunkirk” opens on July 21st and the soundtrack drops the same day.
